The story of the black chicken soup.
Many times in life, a single moment of misfortune can just ruin the joys accrued during the weekends. I have liked to write more in this space for this week, but the spilled black chicken soup has spoiled all mood and i have no choice but to resort to using my sis's laptop to update this place in bid to continue my good positive trend of at least a post a week.
Anyway the story of the black chicken soup goes like that...
most may find it simply pointless but for those who are interested to know this high key event that has dampened my mood for the week, please continue..I was once again back in the comforts of my armchair on a sunny Saturday afternoon, feeling exalted and surfing the net for any latest gossips on Facebook and on a constant lookout for the latest fresh high quality movie torrents to spice up my monastic life in camp. I was freed from the trails and tribulations of army and truly appreciating the life as a liberated civilian, at least for 2 days, as my mum served a bowl of black chicken soup, fresh from the kitchen. My sis was still complaining why i get to enjoy such king-like treatment at home. Haha, so i began my nourishment regime as i continued with my weekly dosage of 'TIAN CAI CONG CONG CONG' Youtube entertainment. It all seems so great and heavenly until i attempted to cut the chicken wing, with my eyes still literally glued to the monitor, completely engrossed in the show, and i was jolted out of the seat when the chicken and soup was unanticipatedly spilled on my keyboard, which was still in pristine condition after it's engagement with me 2 months ago. I was in a 'WTF' mode, and remained rooted and shell-struck for a moment before i scrambled for tissue papers to clean up the mess. I though all was fine, until some of my 'alt' and 'tab' buttons got resistive and i got so pissed off that i decided to send it to ICU for immediate treatment... Right now, it is still in a desperate battle with the chicken soup sunk deep below the keys, and i can only pray hard that inverting my laptop for long periods can persuade the soup from flowing out of the keyboard.
That sums up my unfulfilling week and i can only pray hard that by the time i am freed from camp this coming weekend, i can lay my hands on my baby lappie again...
