Hi there,
I am so dreading of heading back to camp, even though theoretically, i should have acclimatised to such normalcy of NS life after a week of 'adaptation period'. There are many interference and deviances to the normalcy over the past week, with the departure of the ORD sergeants and the incoming of new sergeants, many of which are familiar faces from our batch which makes the whole situation more tensed and weird. This is coupled with the super-up CSM, who unfortunatately will be sticking with us until we ORD, with his new well-researched methods of physical training inspired by his warfighter course. His most apt comment of the week, which no doubt give me creeps throughout will be...
Eh talk cock leh (it was 9pm btw, when everyone else was looking forward to the end of RO and admin time before clocking some rest for the body), now still early.... I still don't want to go home yet!
i was like wtf!? imagine a near 30 year old regular, who can opt for a desk bound 9-5 job instead, staying back at the company line until 9pm, and still not willing to head back home where his family is waiting for him. And i am a poor pity trooper under his charge... And next week we will be kick starting the brand new concept of
full fieldpack, long 4 combat runs... Not sure how am i going to survive through the long dreading week, but i will definitely book out for sitex :D
Looking forward to 6th Dec and life then after ...
