Just spent my weekends chilling out with my cousins - thrashing out all forms of stress and emotions into the microphone and screaming at the top of my lungs as if I am living in my own world. It feels great to sing out loud until your vocals begin to give way and its indeed relishing to continue this 'family tradition' of karaoke outings :D I could still remember the last time i stepped into the Ten Dollar Club was just 2 days before my enlistment into National Service, and also the day when I shaved bald and attempting to shun the public crowd as far as I can. 4+ months have passed since then and can't believe that I am still surviving well.

After which, we managed to rejoice over a Vietnamese meal and head back to my cousin's house to catch the most animated World Cup Match between England and Germany after some light shopping at Chinatown. What a great match it turned out to be and can't believe that the football fanatic in me still exist despite being estranged in army camp for most of the week. I shalln't comment much about the controversies (another debate over the shortfalls of technology in sports, including this on going match between Argentina and Mexico) and the ultimate result of the match but football really can bring out the exuberant atmosphere, that i have long missed. And i still insisted not to place my bets in these games- though my sis and my cousins pooled $15 to bet on Germany to win which they eventually won. HAHA good for them, but i will always remain staunch in my values and my decisions especially when it comes to betting on things that are definitely uncertain and unpredictable. The World Cup is an epic round-up of matches which turned out in contrary to 'experts' predictions' and no amount of knowledge can make you a more informed gambler than others.I always believe that 'investment, without doing your own research, equates to gambling. ' (i can still remember vividly, some investment broker said this in Chinese in one of the interview clips, when i was attached to Mediacorp years back)

So it's getting late and gotta round up this post now. Many promising clashes coming up soon over the next few weeks and hope that weekends will continue to be as productive as of today. Chill-out, relax and catch up with peeps while I can. 4am now- time to catch some well-deserved cosy sleep :D
